In order to use this image without violating copyright infringement, I need transform this in some way. I will do this by critquing the video on its satircal parody. The clip inolves the parody of two political figures and I could juxapose actual footage of Clinton and Palin with the clip. Alternatively, this clip contains the infamous "I can see russia from my house" so I could analyze how that line was deliver and subsesquent impact it had on Palin's image.

Designed Picture
The image that I would take would be me dressed up as former President Bush, making a facial expression similiar to some of the ones that Bush was ridiculed for. Since Bush will be a part of the show that I am writing, this could provide the audience of my presentation with an indication of the nature of my show. In addition, I could juxtapose my picture with a copyrighted image of Bush making a smiliar face, and then compare the two, thereby making my use of the copyright image "fair use."

In order to recieve permission to use this copyright image, I will need to contact a represetitive of Comedy Central or the Colbert Report and request permission to use the image in my presentation. I they say no, then I will have to either analyze it to make it "fair use" or seek another image.
